At the Oakwood Lady Niners Christmas Luncheon, Pam Matassarin, our current president, installed the officers for 2024: Karen Graves, president; Sue Boucher, vice president; Nancy Hooke, treasurer; and Chris Berney, secretary. Thank you, ladies, and good luck. I am sure all our members will be very supportive and help you in any way they can.

Sharon Gale supplied all the lovely Christmas decorations, and we all enjoyed a delicious lunch.

The golf courses are now open to carts, but remember to use the 90-degree rule and do not drive down the center of the fairway unless your ball is close and to use the cart path as much as possible. Also, to speed up play, mark your scores and put your clubs away at the next hole. And please remember to have sand with you to fill in divots.

Only one card needs to be handed in after the game. It either goes into the Oakwood Lady Niners cabinet or bring it to the clubhouse if we are having a luncheon.

Karen, our new president, would like to organize a local tournament to include Sun Lakes Country Club, Cottonwood, and Palo Verde. These tournaments are always fun, and we get to meet our nearby golfing ladies.
