Performing at this year’s African American Association of Sun Lakes Jazz in the Park will be Lisa Hightower. Lisa Hightower, also known as Lisa THEE’ Oracle Hightower, draws her inspiration from a multitude of genres and musical history, such as jazz, blues, R&B, and soul and is largely influenced by her gospel roots. Hightower and her band will be performing at Tumbleweed Park at the McDowell Pavilion in Chandler, Ariz., on Saturday, April 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. Famous Dave’s will be catering the event. No money will be accepted at the event. The deadline to buy tickets is April 6.

Last year’s event was sold out, so don’t wait and be unable to get a ticket before the deadline. All seniors (55+) are welcome to this BBQ and jazz event.

There will be food, music, line dancing, and fellowship with other seniors.
