The Agave Quilters Hand Sewing friendship group continues to meet every Tuesday morning throughout the year. All Agave members are welcome to join. Each member brings a project to work on—such as embroidery, appliqué, cross-stitch, hand quilting, or finishing a binding. The group has only one rule: no sewing machines! Following their morning of stitching and conversation, the group enjoys lunch together.
All guild members are encouraged to join our smaller friendship and special interest groups. We also offer educational classes to learn specific topics or techniques, and we maintain an active community service group that creates quilts for donation.
The Agave Quilters Guild meets the first Wednesday of each month from September through May. Each meeting includes an informative speaker, a business meeting, a “stash table” of free quilt-related items, and gift card giveaways for local quilt shops.
