The Anglers Club kicks off its fall season this month with fishing derbies for the Kids. Four derbies are scheduled, and more are pending.

Soon, the sound of happy children and the cry of “Fish On” will be heard around Lake 6. Not only are the children excited, but the Angler Club members are happy to be back providing them with a fishing experience they will not forget. Most of the members have memories of a special child they have taught, some are grown up now but not forgotten. One of my special memories was working with a blind girl.

Be sure and visit the Anglers Club Flea Market and find that special holiday gift before it’s too late. The flea market is held on the third Saturday of each month at 7:00 a.m. in the west parking lot.
