The perfect motivation to clean out your closets is here! St. Vincent de Paul has scheduled its annual Warm Coat Drive for October 17 to 25. The main focus of this activity will be on collecting new or slightly used adult and children’s items for colder weather. The biggest needs will include coats, jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, blankets, scarves and new socks.

Large donation boxes will be located throughout Sun Lakes to include the following: St. Steven’s Church, Sun Lakes Country Club, Cottonwood, Oakwood, Palo Verde and Ironwood. More donation boxes will be located in our neighboring communities of Solera, Springfield and Sunbird.

All donated items will be sorted and prepared to give to low-income families who will be struggling with cold temperatures. Please know how much your generosity will be appreciated. If you have any questions please call 480-895-9266 extension 200.
