Apple Users Group to learn about flash drive program

The Apple Users Group of Sun Lakes (AUGSL) will meet on Monday, December 14 in the Bradford room of Oakwood Country Club at 6:30 p.m. If you have a Mac, iPod, iPad, iPhone or Apple TV, are new to Apple products or a seasoned Mac user, this is the club for you. In concert with Apple’s new direction of integrated products that all play together, the Apple Users Group of Sun Lakes will focus on iPods, iPhones, iPads, iMacs and their operating systems. Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Bradford room of the Oakwood Country Club.

AUGSL President Bryan Beata will conduct a question and answer session for beginners and veteran users of iPads, iPhones and Macs from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

This month’s featured speaker will be Nancy Roberts, head of the Sun Lakes Fire Department Medical Information Flash Drive Program. Nancy will present a step by step description on how the Medical Information Flash Drive Program works to keep your medical information up to date, private, safe and available for Fire Department emergency response teams in case of an emergency. Medical Information Flash Drives will be available for purchase at the meeting for the modest fee of $5.

The meeting is open to all and the feature presentation will be at 7:30 p.m.

The mission of Apple Users Group is to provide education and training for the whole family of Apple products, with a focus on beginners. Our goal is to make using your computer easy, fun and exciting. Club members receive a monthly newsletter, advice on setting up your computer out of the box and solutions to your software and hardware problems.
