July was very warm, but that didn’t stop a lot of our year-round resident members from enjoying a round of golf each Thursday. The course has been undergoing some long-overdue turf work that was neglected over the years. We ask all our members to be patient as the golf staff does its job. The conditions of the course are not exceptional but WILL get much better once the effects of this much-needed turf maintenance is completed. Hang in there, folks. Overseeding will begin October 15.

Are you new to the area or just looking for a great way to spend time on the Oakwood courses? You don’t have to be a resident of IronOaks to join our group. We have over 350 members with golfers at every level. MOGA has an event each Thursday throughout the year. Why not join MOGA and meet some new friends while playing a variety of team and individual games each week? MOGA is allowing its members with handicaps of 26 and higher to play from the yellow or silver tees. Contact Dan Muth if you would like to move it forward.
Volunteers Needed: We are looking for volunteers to help in the upcoming 2018/2019 season to help lighten the workload for our committees and officers.
