Godfather’s Cup and season 3 winners

The start of the tournament had 17 members (players and former Cup Champion) present in their finest, including many with tuxedos which was the suggested event wear. The prior Cup Champion, Rod “The Babe” Thompson (above in the white hat and bow tie) retired from competition and the new Champion, Bill Lange, had his name on the Godfather’s Cup plaque and was awarded the first place prize money along with an engraved 8-Ball statuette. The runner-up was Sam Gilman, with Larry “Cuestick” Stadler in third place, and Keith “The Rabbi” McDonald taking fourth place in the race to three wins for the matches played in 8-Ball.
