In March, Metal Lokator members have their “Big Hunt.” Active members must have their fees paid to the treasurer on or before the March 8 meeting to be eligible for the hunt. Members hunt for targets that have monetary values assigned to them. Everyone wins something.

In February we had our mini hunt to practice finding targets, and a fun hunt at a local park. A thank you goes to all who donated to and all who helped sell at the February Anglers rummage sale.

The Sun Lakes Metal Lokators Club meets the second Monday of every month October through April. Dues are $15 per person per year. Most meetings are held at 1:00 p.m. in the Friendship Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club. Everyone is welcome to join us to see if this is an activity you would like to do.

If you have no metal detector and would like to try one out, you may come to one of our monthly hunts and use the club’s detector.
