A resolution can form a strong and secure foundation in the new year for you to build upon. I don’t always make New Year’s resolutions… knowing, in the back of my mind, that I may or may not (probably won’t) follow it for very long.

Yet by staying with a resolution I made many years ago, I found out that Reiki is the basis for my own personal path of spiritual growth. It has formed the firm foundation for my future forward progress.

Universal Life Force Energy, or Reiki, is a door opener to new, untapped potentials of personal awareness and expansion. The experience of Reiki is different for each practitioner, each one being supported and guided by it toward their own Greatest Good.

For some, that means healing of a physical condition. For others, it means being led to deep, meaningful feelings of inner peace and comfort. For me, in addition to both of those, it meant being guided to my next spiritual teacher and an entirely new spiritual journey.

We don’t know how the energy we call Reiki will bring us to precisely where we need to be. But by following our intuition, or “nudging,” we can find ourselves in circumstances providing us with greater understanding than we ever had before.

Reiki can be the foundation energy and the opportunity — providing energy we have needed for a long, long time.

The Sun Lakes Reiki Circle meets at 9:30 a.m. every Tuesday morning in Room A-2 in the Cottonwood courtyard. The Circle begins with a short meditation, followed by sharing Reiki healing.
