Are you missing the monthly gatherings of your P.E.O. Chapters? Yearning for the camaraderie and friendship those monthly meetings offer? Did you know that there is a P.E.O. Group right here in Sun Lakes that meets once a month for a mid–morning meeting and monthly socials from November to April each year?
Group C, created in November 1997 is a fully sanctioned P.E.O. Group right here in the Sun Lakes area. P.E.O. Groups “were created to give P.E.O. members living in retirement resorts, government communities, and foreign areas the opportunity to maintain P.E.O. contacts and interest.” P.E.O. Groups are meant to be an extension of your regular sisterhood, a way to continue forging friendships with women of similar interests. Fundraising is not part of the Group mission!
If you would like the opportunity to meet new sisters and enjoy some fun times while you winter in the lovely Sun Lakes area, please join us for a get together on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Sisk Park (located at 11110 East Drive, at the Palo Verde Country Club) from 4 to 6 p.m. The event is free to all interested P.E.O. sisters. Light refreshments and an assortment of beverages will be served.
If you are a current/active member of a P.E.O. chapter anywhere in the world and you would like to meet with other sisters for a fun time, please join us.
RSVP to Ruby Meyer at Lmeyer829@aol.com to let us know if you can join us.
Sincerely, your sisters from Group C
