Chi Dance with Kim

Chi Dance with Kim Kubsch

Tai Chi-Qigong is a practice for senior health and longevity to improve balance, plus coordination and agility of the mind and body. With slow, continually flowing movements, my fusion of these practices feels like a slow dance by yourself! In my newly released DVD titled, Chi Dance with Kim Kubsch, I am joined by 18 participants ages 62-100. The beauty of the practice, whether at my weekly, year-round classes, at home or on the road, is that each participant can modify any or all of the movements to feel safe and comfortable: sit, stand or do a bit of both.

It is easiest to experience your body’s Qi through a moving practice. Instead of only paying attention to what your body is doing in a movement, we pay attention to what your body is being. Rather than viewing a movement as an effort to get from point A to point B, we experience it by relaxing our mind and body. Try the Thursday class any Thursday in December to enjoy the holiday season even more!
