The Sun Lakes Italian-American Club (SLIAC) will be having our first meeting/dinner of the 2026-27 year on Thursday, Oct. 15 at Oakwood Ballroom, next to Stone and Barrel Restaurant. Doors open at 4:45 p.m. Dinner is at 6 p.m. This will be our “Welcome Back Members” dinner and the speakers will be from Greenhouse Gardens in Chandler discussing the various herbs, fruits and vegetables they offer. Cost for catered dinner will be $32 and annual membership is $25. You will not be able to pay at the door. RSVP and payment is done online by credit card on our website iacsunlakes.com. RSVP and payment deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 7.
If you are thinking about joining the club and want to check us out, feel free to come to the dinner meeting at a cost of $32 (for catered dinner). When you join the club, there is a $25 annual membership fee that covers you from Oct. through May. We meet monthly to “preserve, honor and promote Italian heritage, customs, and traditions” If you are a member and on our monthly mailing list, you will receive an email with RSVP info. RSVP is a must so we can give the caterer an accurate count.
