Not only is this club full of computer information shared by its members, it is also interesting and enjoyable. Most of all, it’s the way it is because of its’ many volunteers. In fact it is the volunteers who are committed to the clubs interests that make it such a substantial tool for others wanting to get more out of their computing. It’s rather like putting a movie together with lights, camera and action. These volunteers create, run and are the glue to the Computer Booters Club that is for those interested in attending. There is always a need and a place for volunteers. As you might notice they are more than appreciated.
A luncheon in the volunteers’ honor was given at the Sun Lakes Country Club the end of March. Needless to say it was a full room with pleasantries abounding around the festive tables.
As mentioned in another article we have great speaker for our May 3 meeting. It is to be Ron Schott presenting a PowerPoint presentation about the Arizona Technology Council. It will prove to be most interesting.
Have a great/safe summer and we hope to see many of you back for the September 6 meeting held at the Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 Sun Lakes Blvd. in Sun Lakes in the Navajo Room at 7:00 p.m. Guests are always welcome and after signing in, Nona Hove will surely give you the winning ticket for one of the evening’s door prizes drawn at the close of the meeting.
Clue to win: Put your ticket in the basket with the least number of tickets in it.
No Classes for May
