The 2016 Cottonwood Club Championship Tournament was held February 11, 18 and 25. The overall winner is Susan Hayward. Congratulations to Susan for her exceptional play during the three day event. This tournament was hard fought with Susan prevailing in the end. At the beginning of the round on the 25th there were only two strokes difference between the leader Susan and first place finisher Terry Gaube. The game was a close match with Susan prevailing in the end.

In East Valley team match play cumulative scoring Cottonwood is sitting in first place net and third place gross with two rounds to go. Cottonwood ladies are in great position to finish in first net and still have possibilities to place higher in gross points. Continue to play well girls and finish this season with your best!

CLGA Upcoming events:

April 7 – Member/Guest Tournament. The theme is “The Queen of Clubs” and the format will be four person teams. Entry deadline is March 30.

April 14 and 21 – PICO (Palo Verde, Ironwood, Oakwood and Cottonwood) Tournament will be hosted by Cottonwood and Ironwood.
