The Cottonwood Lady Niners are back, better than ever. Big news is the new pricing structure – just $275 for the entire season of Thursday Niners play ($295 for Phase 1 and 3), plus $55 to join the league. You can’t get more fun golf anywhere for that price!

The Niners play every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. shotgun following a 12:30 p.m. meeting on the Pro Shop deck. Some weeks, we play for a post-able score so you can get your handicap; some weeks we play scrambles. Most ladies join in the Cottonwood Bar after nine holes to celebrate their good shots, or drown their sorrows. Several luncheons and activities are also planned throughout the season, the highlight being the member/guest tournament in March. Our season runs through the end of May, but this past summer, some of the more sweat-resistant members played weekly just for fun.

To get more information on stress-free golf and comradery, call Leeanna Michelson at 206-478-7540 or Kathy Skrie at 883-1740. We can now sign up on Chelsea under events or on the sheets outside in the glass case (at least for a little while longer).

Our first day of play was November 2, and here are the winners of all four flights, with a grand total of $97.00 in chits awarded:

Flight 1: 1st Lynn Tanner, 2nd (tie) Dee Monsonis and Nancy Gehlbach, 3rd Eden Carter; Flight 2: 1st Ginger Mays, 2nd (tie) Jean Nelson and Rachelle Wilson, 3rd Sue Schafer; Flight 3: 1st Kay Newton, 2nd Lorri Morgan, 3rd Donna Walgren; Flight 4: 1st (tie) Mary Ann Loran and Diane Rutowski, 2nd (tie) Carol Heally and Patti Landry, 3rd Judy Hultgren. v
