The new year started with a Stableford competition by flights on Jan. 2. A Stableford format awards points for each bogey, par, birdie, eagle, or hole-in-one, posted in the round by each competitor.

The weekend of Jan. 9 and 10 was the Ace of Aces tournament for those who qualified during the 2020 golf season. Each month, an Ace of Aces Qualifier was held, and this two-day competition culminated in a Net and Gross winner in each flight.

The annual Member/Member competition was held on the weekend of Jan. 16 and 17. The 36-hole event featured four different nine-hole formats. They included a team one net score, a team two net score, a team alternate shot score, and a team pick a drive best ball score with a three-drive-per-player requirement. The teams were placed in six flights based on the total Handicap Index of the two players.

Jan. 30 was the qualifier for the Presidents Cup. The Presidents Cup is a match play event between the top 64 qualifiers. The matches will be played over the next eight weeks.
