Crystal Card Project Recycles Greeting Cards

Some of the many gifts donated for the families living at My Sister’s Place

The Crystal Card Project rejuvenates used cards, sells them for $1 each, then donates the funds to My Sister’s Place, a domestic violence shelter. Thanks to all the volunteers, shoppers, and donors, $75,000 has been given to the shelter since this program began in 2016. December brought special donations of gifts, toys, and gift cards to those at the shelter. Thanks to all who participated in bringing a little extra cheer.

Sales of Crystal Cards for January:

* Wednesday, Jan. 4, at the Women’s Coffee beginning at 10 a.m. to noon in Cottonwood’s San Tan Ballroom

* Wednesday, Jan. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Bradford Room in the Oakwood clubhouse

* Thursday, Jan. 19, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Sun Lakes Country Club
