CWPV Message from the President

Leonard Horst

We made it past the shortest day of the year in December; Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year’s celebrations; the anniversary of the Jan. 6 riot; the end of the college football season; and our annual Safety Day event, and here we are in the “Month of Love,” getting ready for Valentine’s Day. Time truly flies when you’re having fun!

We are in the middle of our annual board of directors election cycle. Candidates are busy campaigning for the two open positions on the board and preparing for the Meet the Candidates event, which will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m. in the San Tan Ballroom at the Cottonwood complex. Please join your fellow homeowners at this important event. You can sign up for online voting through the Cottonwood Palo Verde website if you haven’t already. The deadline for e-voter registration is Friday, Feb 16.

This is the busiest time of year in our community. Please be careful, whether you are driving, walking, or biking along our roads. The safety of all our citizens is a high priority, and it takes each one of us to ensure that goal. Thank you.
