The Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse, alongside the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), recently held the semi-annual Drug Take-Back event on April 30, in conjunction with the Document Shred event.

The Drug Take-Back is a vital event in our community to allow our residents to easily dispose of dangerous prescription medicines that are left over. By getting these drugs out of cabinets and drawers and into the correct hands for proper disposal, we are protecting our families and our community.

We collected six large containers of drugs at our recent April event in Sun Lakes.

Look for our next semi-annual event in October of this year. Your Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse will announce the date as soon as the DEA confirms it.
