Dale Goodwin, IronOaks President
As our snowbird friends and neighbors head back to cooler climates, we wish them safe travels and look forward to welcoming them home this fall.
Here in IronOaks, rising temperatures mean our landscapes—and our golf courses—are coming back to life. Our maintenance teams are already hard at work preparing for the growing season. Please understand also that this time of year our grassy areas are undergoing a transition from rye grass to Bermuda. During this time these areas can look underwatered or neglected. Rest assured that’s not the case.
Projects Underway
Last month, the Board approved funding to replace all bunkers on the award-winning Ironwood Golf Course. Work is expected to begin in mid-June and will take approximately four to six weeks. The course will remain open during this time.
In addition, new maintenance equipment has been approved to ensure our courses remain in top condition.
You will also see improvements underway at the Fitness Center Pool and Spa, including resurfacing, a full deck replacement, and a new spa heater. Unlike previous repairs, this project involves rebuilding the deck from the base up—providing a longer-lasting solution. These projects are funded through our Reserve Fund.
Looking Ahead
The Board is also evaluating additional projects and prioritizing them based on homeowner needs and available funding. While the list of potential improvements continues to grow, our resources are finite.
To ensure a disciplined approach, we are developing a one, three and five year project plan and look forward to sharing more details in the coming months.
We remain committed to maintaining and enhancing our community so that IronOaks continues to be one of the most desirable places to live in the Valley—guided by transparency and fiscal responsibility.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. I look forward to seeing you next month.
