The Sun Lakes Democratic Club’s next meeting is Monday, October 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Navajo Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 N. Sun Lakes Blvd.

This meeting will feature a special Candidates Night. All the Democratic candidates have been invited to stop in that night (and at our annual social event at Oasis Park on October 11) for one last opportunity before the general election to visit with the Sun Lakes/Chandler voters to discuss their campaigns, future plans for Arizona and answer questions. Please come and possibly bring a friend to welcome our standard bearers, wish them well and assure them of your support.

At all club meetings, we collect non-perishable food items for the Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank. Collections take place in the west parking lot from 6:30-7:00 p.m. There is also a collection box at the north entrance of the Sun Lakes Sunset Grill lobby. Thanks to your generosity we have collected over 1,457 lbs. of food and $145 dollars so far this year.
