The Desert Artists Club (DAC) welcomes May as temps rise like the rocks out of the earth and as predictable as the sun each morning. We welcome the gifts that nature gives us and adjust our outside activities a bit, allowing time for our creativity to flourish when we come to the DAC on Tuesdays. It is a fun learning experience that inspires us to move forward and create images of what we love to celebrate.

The Desert Artists Club meets each Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m., in the Ceramics Room (A-8) in Cottonwood. We come together to be with other artists while we create and get inspired. We bring our own supplies and work in our own medium. We have no dues or meetings, as our club is casual and free of demands. We have occasional social times, share our art and snacks, and have just a relaxing, fun time. We meet all year round, so there is a place to come to and be with other artists.

If you are new to Sun Lakes and belong to one of the three HOAs, you are eligible to join. You may stop in any Tuesday and see what the members are working on and see if this club is a fit for you. Feel free to ask questions of any of the members. We are all happy to engage with anyone interested in our club or our work.
