Every Wednesday the First Baptist Church of Sun Lakes holds a dinner and Bible study in their fellowship hall. Reservations are necessary, and the cost is a freewill offering. Under the direction of Patty LeVoir and the Social Committee, wonderful and tasteful home-cooked meals are prepared. Dinner is served at 5 p.m. After dessert, Pastor Steve Foss starts teaching an informal Bible study. The subject is “Mourning for a Nation Left Desolate.” After Bible study, Pastor Foss often provides a special song. When you walk out at the end of a beautiful evening, you know in your heart that you have been fed physically and spiritually and have experienced a wonderful couple of hours of sweet fellowship. Sign-ups are requested in order to have enough food to accommodate those attending.
