Duplicate Bridge Club Reopening

James Utter, President, Duplicate Bridge Club

After a long pandemic hiatus, Sun Lakes Duplicate Bridge Club plans to reopen on Saturday morning, May 1, for in-person duplicate bridge games. Since the club membership consists mainly of senior citizens, all players must show proof of full COVID vaccination to be eligible to participate. Games are held four days a week at the Risen Savior Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall at 23914 S. Alma School Road. The specific weekly schedule and other club information, such as the nominal game entry fees, can be found on the club’s website at www.bridgewebs.com/sunlakes.

The club welcomes everyone and has games for all, from new to highly-experienced players. Bridge lessons and assistance finding partners are also offered. Look for a separate announcement in this issue on lessons currently being planned.

The club has been holding games online during the past year and will continue to do so at specific times for the foreseeable future. For more information, contact Eileen Utter at 480-802-8300 or [email protected].
