Spring Has Arrived At the Perfect Place

The Perfect Place is a non-medical adult center that provides social and recreational activities for individuals with cognitive impairments. Established in 1994, The Perfect Place provides respite for caregivers and fun activities for those who attend. Our activity directors have been busy the last few months assisting our participants with various arts and craft projects. Christmas was on everyone’s mind in December. Door decorations were one of the projects made. Valentine’s Day brought hearts and Valentine cards. Shamrocks were the activity for St. Patrick’s Day. Coloring Easter eggs with Cool Whip was the fun project for April. One of the latest projects involved painting wooden birdhouses. Each participant was assisted by either a staff member or volunteer.

One of the volunteers will be initiating a drum circle for all who attend The Perfect Place. This is a new and exciting project that will not only be enjoyable, but will provide exercise and strengthen eye/hand coordination. Stay tuned for more information in future articles.
