Sun Lakes Duplicate Bridge Club is a member-owned organization providing bridge games four times weekly to roughly 300 members.

On Feb. 20 the club held a special ceremony to honor Lindsay Cantoni for exceptional and long-running voluntary service to the club. At the end of December, Lindsay stepped down from 14 years and multiple terms as one of five elected club board members. During that period, she served at different times as secretary, vice president, and continuously since the beginning of 2015 in the key post of treasurer. In addition, Lindsay served collaterally as club empathy lead, composing and sending handwritten notes to members enduring serious health issues and losses of close loved ones.

Club President Jim Utter presented Lindsay the club’s annual Outstanding Service Award trophy and a floral arrangement in a vase engraved to honor her extended service. More club information is available at bridgewebs.com/sunlakes.
