Wednesday, March 2 at 10:30 a.m. – Arizona Kicks on Route 66. Marshall Trimble, Arizona’s hip historian, presents this fascinating program on the history of Route 66 in Arizona. Sponsored by Arizona Humanities and the Friends of the Ed Robson Library.
Tuesday, March 15 at 1:00 p.m. – Folklore, Stories, and Songs of Ireland. In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Pat McCrossan, Irish entertainer and Academic Director at the Irish Cultural Center, presents an hour of traditional Irish songs and folklore. Sponsored by the Friends of the Ed Robson Library.
Thursday March 17 at 2:00 p.m. – Create an Orchid Mini-Greenhouse. Bring an empty, clean, plastic gallon milk jug and have an experienced grower help you repot an orchid. Learn proper techniques so your orchids flourish and grow. The plant and other materials provided by the Orchid Society of Arizona. Limited to 35 attendees. Registration began on February 11.
Thursday, March 24 at 1:00 p.m. – Chandler Symphony Presents Pam Hahn, Harpist. Chandler Symphony Principal Harpist, Pam Hahn, presents a solo performance and introduces fascinating facts about the harp.
