New participants are welcome. When new people come more direction is given. It was so easy to follow along. You do not have to be limber or in shape. Slapping or tapping the body is done to get the blood and energy moving. We also do a lot of joint rotations. This practice is based on ancient Asian Qigong principles and is very effective.
Most modern activities are done sitting and the leg muscles, quadriceps and hamstrings become weak. The hips also become weak and the body is becomes unbalanced. This exercise works on energizing these areas.
It is important to listen to your body, be hydrated and learn to relax. Wear loose comfortable clothing. This is a good way to start your day or end your day. You will feel energized. You will sleep better. We end class with QiGong meditative practice.
Come a bit early to help set up the room. Bring a mat. There are some mats in the room.
