Bill Shedd

Commander Craig Lloyd, SLSP

Please welcome Bill Shedd as one of our newest members of the Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse.

Bill has been volunteering in the Sun Lakes Posse for the past year, assisting in the medical equipment loaner program and various community events serving our community’s needs from the Posse building located at 9531 E. Riggs Road.

Bill is a second generation native of Arizona, a graduate of NAU with a degree in telecommunications, and recently retired from the local broadcasting industry after 40 years working in many capacities and retiring as a general manager of operations.

This former Eagle Scout still maintains the high principles of community service he learned in his youth and will now be focusing his strong desire to give back in his community on serving our Sun Lakes Community in patrol functions from a fully-marked Sheriff’s patrol vehicle. Bill underwent many hours of law enforcement vetting and then training to wear the patch and badge of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s office as an Intermediate Posseman.

You will not be able to miss Bill at 6 feet, 5 inches tall, as you see him patrolling our community.
