It’s a new year and it’s a chance to become a new you as well! That means change, and change is hard but is what is needed to get to a better place, physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, etc. Most of us are serious creatures of habit and lovers of comfort. Georg Lichtenberg said, “I cannot say whether things will get better if we change; what I can say is they must change if they are to get better.”
One of the most difficult changes to make and one of the most common resolutions to undertake is to change eating habits. Many of us fail to make lasting change due to ingrained habits, other because of overwhelming temptation, but mostly simply from having good intentions but little understanding of the dietary changes needed. Proper nutrition and daily exercise are important components to being healthy. Taking care of ourselves is the most important thing we can do for ourselves. Understanding why we need to is a good way to begin. Be the change that will make your 2019 the best year of your life.
