Thursday evening, March 15, 2018, will be another special musical evening when the Chorale presents the second event of its musical year. Considering the many Sun Lakes events available and the growing number of residents and visitors, adding this date to the calendar now and considering advance ticket purchases insures an exciting evening.

The Chorale will again perform at the Sun Lakes United Methodist Church located at 9248 E. Riggs Road (next to the library). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:00 p.m. Parking is plentiful and provides a way to conveniently enjoy an evening right in your own neighborhood.

Not familiar with the group? Now is a good time to visit to learn more about them and their leadership.

The $10 concert tickets will be available on February 16 and can be purchased by sending a self-addressed, stamped return envelope and your check to Carolyn Ellis; call 480-883-6997 for details. Tickets will be available for purchase at Sun Lakes Ace Hardware’s “Ticket Tuesdays” on February 20 and 27 and March 6 and 13, between 10:00 a.m. and noon. Any unsold tickets will be available at the door on the night of the concert. Watch for additional information on posters, flyers and neighborhood street signs.

Guests can look forward to enjoying 75 exciting voices with innovative instrumental accompaniments and creative arrangements for upbeat songs like “The Rhythm of Life” from Sweet Charity and medleys from Fiddler on the Roof and Les Misérables. The spring program offers great variety as well as an emphasis on Broadway favorites. The Holiday Concert attracted a capacity crowd, as will this truly unique evening!
