The Murray’s celebrate 70 years
“I choose you. And I’ll choose you, over and over. Without pause, without doubt, in a heartbeat. I’ll keep choosing you.”
Dick first met Rose Marie when they were both 14 and working for the Santa Fe Railroad in Kansas City, Kansas. His shop foreman suggested he check out the new secretary, and that’s how it started. Dick enlisted in the Navy during World War II and for the next 14 months, corresponded via love letters. They were married May 2, 1947, at the age of 19. Five beautiful children later and a 38-year career with Phillips Petroleum finds them retired in Sun Lakes. They have 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
“You will forever be my Always.”
