Our Phyllis Hall celebrated her 100th birthday at the Sun Lakes Sunset Grill. Celebrating with Phyllis were members of Golden Goalies, including longtime members Sharon Flores, Alice Willits, Margaret Simpkins, and Adelle Karp. Also enjoying the turnout were organizer Jeanne Becker and Alice Willittes and about 20 guests. Some Goalies have been together since the 70s, so everyone enjoyed catching up on news about those we missed seeing for nearly two years, including those who were not able to attend this celebration.

Golden Goalies members were known for supporting one another in the efforts to lower their weight and improve their health. Though the group disbanded amid the pandemic, we all look back fondly on over 25 years of camaraderie—as well as improved health.
