Paullene Caraher
The next meeting is on Nov. 6, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. We will be making two blends; one for lessening wrinkles in the facial area and the other a feet-sleep.
We all want to diminish the wrinkles we’ve earned by raising children, working inside and outside the home, and giving loving care to our partners. Now we can “iron” out the wrinkles and thank them for assisting us during our very busy younger lives and bid them adieu.
The second blend is required to get enough restful sleep to keep the wrinkles at bay. When we were younger, we were able to function at high levels with less sleep. But the sleep research literature indicates that, for most, less than eight hours is not enough for the body to repair itself. We used to think we would catch up on the weekends. Not so! We cannot make up for lost sleep.
“By Jeremy Rehm, March 1, 2019, at 8:54 a.m. If the weekend is your time to catch up on sleep, you may want to rethink your strategy. In young adults, using the weekend to make up for lost sleep during the workweek can lead to increased late-night munchies, weight gain and a lowered responsiveness to insulin, researchers report. February 28 in Current Biology.”
This oil blend will be put on the feet, thereby relaxing the whole body. The feet have lots of points which connect to the whole body. Many already have the lavender oil and use it religiously before they go to bed.
This meeting is usually on the first Wednesday of the month in the SunBird Golf Resort, located at 6250 SunBird Blvd., Chandler, AZ 85249, on the upper floor in the Navajo Room.
