The new board of the IronOaks Tennis Club has been busy making plans for a 2022-23 tennis season filled with activities to include every member of the tennis community. Mark your calendars for these great events:

• Nov. 5: The year will start with a casual “Welcome Back” gathering of tennis and pickleball players for coffee and pastries.

• Nov. 6-12: Many IOTC members will travel across Riggs Road to participate in the Bradshaw Don New Charity event at Cottonwood.

• Nov. 19: IOTC will host Trilogy Tennis Club for a fun morning of social tennis.

• Jan. 31: Members will gather to give an early welcome to the new year.

• Jan. 16-21: Gender Doubles Tournament for IOTC members

• Feb. 4: Starting a very busy tennis month, IOTC will host Springfield Tennis Club for a morning of social tennis.

• Feb. 11: Feel the love at the annual Valentine’s Day Social.

• Feb. 13-17: Mixed Doubles Tournament for IOTC members

• Feb. 18: IOTC is hosted by Cottonwood Tennis Club for a Saturday morning social.

• Feb. 25: IOTC travels to Robson Ranch Tennis Club to enjoy their hospitality for our final inter-club social of the year.

• March 2-5: The annual USTA Jason Morton Tournament gives us a chance to participate at a high level or just enjoy watching some outstanding tennis.

• April 1: A highlight of the year, the Grand Slam Charity Event will be sponsored by IOTC and the IronOaks Pickleball Club. Members have an opportunity to play tennis or pickleball while supporting an outstanding local organization, Neighbors Who Care.

• April (date to be determined): We’ll say goodbye to our snowbird members at our Year-End Tennis Bash.

• July 1: The annual traditional Pancake Breakfast will celebrate America and mark the end of a fun-filled tennis year.
