Wayne Newman and Len Paulson defeated Burt Hustad and Mel Terechenok in the annual IronOaks Open Clay Court Tournament finals held on June 17. This beat-the-heat early morning final was a thriller (split sets plus a tie breaker) played before a sleepy crowd enjoying the tasty breakfast menu. Scores were 6-2, 5-7, 10-3; third place winners were Rick Kenny and Steve Horowitz over Dave Held and Thom Tschetter.
