Saturday, October 31 at 9:00 a.m. at Lake Diamond in Oakwood come join these two fun-loving good witches at this year’s Halloween Pet Party, for a howling good time. For many years they have been brewing festive Halloween events for Sun Lakes residents, their families and friends.
As in the past, the judging categories are:
Best Costumed Small/Medium Breed Dogs
Best Costumed Large Breed Dogs
Most Creative Costumed Dogs
If you are considering adopting a pet, Rover’s Rest Stop will once again be on-site with some of their adoptable dogs. Dee and her tireless staff of volunteers have placed many loving dogs in Sun Lakes homes. Each of their adoptees is house broken before placement is made. For more information you can visit their website at Roversreststop.com.
Rescue groups, such as Rover’s Rest Stop, rely heavily on donations. Please consider donating any of the following items to help feed and make comfortable the animals they are trying to place in homes: Unopened bags or cans of pet food and treats, gently used leads, collars, pet blankets, pet beds or toys, food and water bowls as well as towels. We will have bins available at each entrance for these donations which are given to Rover’s Rest Stop at the end of the event.
You and your pets are what make this Halloween Pet Party a success. So bring your ghouls and goblins, large and small, ghosts and pumpkins, short and tall. Tis time for critters to mingle and meet, to see who’s the winner of this year’s Halloween Pet Trick-or-Treat!
