IronOaks Lady Breakers! We’ve got the perfect times, but just a quick insider heads-up: we are a women’s billiards (pool) league, not a swimming pool group! We gather around the green felt rather than the water.
If you are looking to check us out or join in, here is exactly where we meet and how it works:
* Location: The Billiards/Pool Room inside the Oakwood Clubhouse
* When we play: Mondays from 9 a.m. to noon and Tuesdays from 9 to 11 a.m.
* The vibe: It’s an incredibly welcoming, low-pressure social group. We play 8-ball and 9-ball, and it doesn’t matter if you haven’t picked up a cue in years or worry about forgetting the rules—they are all about casual play and building community.
* Bonus social perks: On the first Monday of every month, the group picks a local restaurant to go grab a team lunch together.
* Flexibility: You don’t have to commit to both days; you can show up for Mondays, Tuesdays, or both depending on what fits your week.
* If you want to reach out to the organizers before dropping by the clubhouse, you can call or text Kim Hutchinson at 480-294-2439 or Lorene Roberts at 310-880-4460.
