The Sun Lakes Italian-American Club (SLIAC) will be having our first meeting of 2026 on Thursday, Jan. 8, at the Oakwood ballroom, next to Stone & Barrel restaurant. Doors open at 4:45 p.m., with dinner starting at 6 p.m. The cost for dinner will be $29, and annual membership is $20. The RSVP and payment deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 31. Come join us and check us out. You won’t regret it.
No reservations or payments will be taken after Dec. 31 (very important!).

Meeting Topic: This will be a first. Our Jan. 8 dinner meeting topic will be “A History of Italian Influence in the Circus.” We will be using historical videos and lively discussions.
We meet monthly to “preserve, honor, and promote Italian heritage, customs, and traditions.” If you are a member and on our monthly mailing list, you will receive an email with RSVP info around Dec. 8. RSVP is a must so we can get the caterer an accurate count. Again, the deadline to RSVP and make a credit card payment is Wednesday, Dec. 31.
The board of directors for the SLIAC looks forward to meeting you, whether you are a returning member or a new member. We are the fastest-growing club in Sun Lakes, with more than 160 paid members.
