On March 6 Linda Breitbach, Marcia Gaudioso, Ann Gavin, Barb Pezzute, Leta Polson, Judy Thompson and Catherine Tinerino-Moore participated in the Shalimar 9-Hers Mardi Gras Invitational Tournament. Ann Gavin’s team took second place in the tournament and Barb Pezzute won a door prize which was a complementary foursome of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club. Bloody Marys were available on the 5th hole – did I mention the ladies had a wonderful time?

The IWLN are looking for two of our members to volunteer to be co-chairs for a 2016 Charity Invitational Tournament. Our league has hosted these tournaments for over nine years and there are many members with vast experience in helping with the various committees who will assist the co-chairs. This is a wonderful and fun event; it benefits charity and gives us an opportunity to revisit with many of our Lady Niners from leagues throughout the greater Phoenix area. If you think you would like to co-chair this event, please contact Jeanine Krause.

Upcoming April meetings: April 1 is our Board Meeting; April 8th is our last General Meeting and Brunch until fall. We will be presenting awards at the April 8 meeting. Please plan on attending our all-hands get together before our summer travelers take to the highways in search of cooler climates.

New members: We are delighted to give a very warm welcome to our newest members, Vicki Mendenhall and Barbara Sietto. Wednesday is our league play day with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. Ladies gather in the Ironwood Clubhouse following golf for some social time. To get more information about our dynamic league please contact Rachel Enloe at 480-802-1631.
