This year’s Jason Morton Tennis Classic was blessed with picture-perfect weather for the 230 players and spectators.

Morton was the founder and designer of the IronOaks tennis facility, and this tournament has a long history at IronOaks.

Matt Gleason, USTA Southwest Tournament Director, oversees this annual event and was on hand during the five days. Contributing to the success of this tournament were Paityn Taylor from USTA; Becky Riggs, Steve Heftor, and Chris Zablan, USTA referees; IOTC President CJ Berry; Kristina Traylor, treasurer; and the men’s play group who handled refreshments. A special thank you is also extended to the sponsors who supported the tournament.

Jason Morton is a USTA Level 5 prize money tournament attracting local and out-of-state standout players from as far away as Canada and New York. There were talented players from all levels and divisions.
