Celebrating Veterans Day will be the theme of Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation (SLJC) services on Friday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. at the Sun Lakes Chapel. Copper State Post 619 of the Jewish War Veterans will be honored during the Shabbat service. The congregation conducts services each month on the second Friday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Chapel. The Hale Theatre is reviving some of the great musicals of Broadway, and the SLJC membership is joining the fun. On Nov. 12 at 4 p.m., a group of SLJC members will be attending a matinee performance of Sister Act at the Hale Theatre. This is the first show in an ongoing fundraiser involving shows at the Hale Theatre, including The Andrews Brothers, 42nd Street, and Bye Bye Birdie.
