Over $10,000 was recently collected by the Jewish War Veterans (JWV) Post 619 in their Memorial Day weekend Poppy Drive. JWV is the oldest veteran service organization in the U.S., and its members are proud of funds they raise yearly to directly help at-risk veterans through their substantial donations to local not-for-profit veterans’ organizations.
