The Lady Sluggers opened their season on Jan. 4 with a twin bill versus the Stingers of Sunland Village East. Their schedule features 13 doubleheaders and two tournaments. The tournaments are at Viewpoint Golf and RV Resort in Mesa (Feb. 18-20) and at Valle del Oro RV Resort, also in Mesa (Feb. 25-27).

By the time you read this, the Sluggers will have seven doubleheaders remaining, three at home and four on the road. The remaining home schedule includes the following: Wednesday, Feb. 2, versus Viewpoint; Wednesday, Feb. 16, versus Rock Shadows; and Wednesday, Feb. 23, versus Valle del Oro. All home games start at noon and are played at the Field of Dreams, near Riggs and Old Price Roads. Come down to the field and cheer on our Sluggers!
