The Sun Lakes Model Railroad Club, The Short Line, is pleased to announce that we will again be setting up our modules in the lobby of the clubhouse at Oakwood for Christmas.
This is our fourth year of doing this, and we are very grateful to be able to show off some outstanding modeling and, at the same time, maybe bring you back to a fun time when trains ran under your Christmas tree at home.
We will install the layout on Friday, Dec. 12, and it will be running for the dinner hour. It will be taken down on Tuesday, Dec. 23, after lunch. Daily, it will be open from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The club is made up of model railroad enthusiasts of all scales and sizes and people who enjoy railroading and its rich history. We are always ready to welcome new members. We meet in Oakwood on the second Saturday of every month in the Arts Room a little after 1 p.m.
