A Brief Personal History
This majestic antique pump organ was purchased by my husband Guy A. Davidson, founder and Pastor of Grace Community Church in Tempe for 22 years. His determined search for this special organ was a surprise gift he presented to me on a memorable anniversary of our marriage. An unexpected and loved gift I have treasured for 49 years.
A Brief History of This Special Pump Organ
This antique instrument was produced by Dominion Organ and Piano Company that was founded in the 1870s. The company was celebrated for its intricate woodworking and innovative “reed-qualifying tubes” that produced rich, even-registering voicing. Dominion organs won international awards, but ceased production during the Great Depression. The company operated from roughly 1870 until closing in 1936.
I am scaling down and unfortunately, I don’t have room to take the organ with me therefore, I am offering this gorgeous instrument free to someone who will enjoy this special gift!
