Nonfiction Book Club – Killers of the Flower Moon

March 1 at 3 p.m.

Join our fantastic nonfiction book club to read fascinating biographies, gripping historical accounts, or affirming self-help titles. Each month we will read a different nonfiction book and discuss it as a group. This month, we will be reading Killers of the Flower Moon, by David Grann.

Recipe Swap

March 3 at 10 a.m.

Join us once a month to share and swap recipes! Bring your favorite recipes, and we will create and pass out copies of it. Participants will be provided with a Robson recipe book where you can add the new recipes you receive.

Biodegradable Bird Feeders

March 5 at 2 p.m.

Come learn about birds and their migration while we create small feeders with pine cones, birdseed, and peanut butter.

Please be aware of a nut allergen warning. Peanut butter will be used for this program.

Annuities 101 – Protect Your Golden Egg During Your Golden Years Series

March 7 at 2 p.m.

You will learn the basics of how to start long-term investing, the different types of annuities, and how they work. This seminar will give you the tools to make informed decisions and the potential benefits and risks.

Kriti Bollywood Dance

Checkers Tournament

March 15 at 2 p.m.

It’s time for a checkers tournament! Whether you are a seasoned strategist or a beginner, come have some fun. We will do a bracket-style tournament, so register with a friend to become the ultimate checkers champion! This program is for ages 8 and up.

Open Tech Help

Need help learning your new device? Can’t figure out how to send an email? Our Open Tech Help program is here to help! Bring your device/problem with you, and one of our staff members will provide one-on-one help. Each registration is for 20 minutes of time and will be completed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Ed Robson Film Society – Botero (2018)

March 21 at 2:30 p.m.

The Ed Robson Film Society is a new program series based around watching and discussing relevant and important films from around the world. This month’s film will be Botero (2018). This doc follows the life and career of legendary Colombian painter and sculptor Fernando Botero. Hailed as one of the world’s most prolific and popular artists, the 86-year-old Botero illustrates vision and mastery of the arts in this must-see film from documentary filmmaker Don Millar. Following the screening, we will have a book club-style discussion based around the film.

Making and Playing Simple Percussion Instruments

March 22 at 1:30 p.m.

Budding percussionists of all ages will learn how to make and play simple percussion instruments from wood and items found around the home. Class participants will make simple instruments using everyday objects. The workshop will end with a brief concert performed by all the budding percussionists!

Spring Cleaning Workshop

March 24 at 10 a.m.

Do you have a lot of clutter in your home? Too many boxes in your garage? Want to find a solution? At our Spring Cleaning Workshop, we will discuss various methods of decluttering your life! From Marie Kondo to Swedish Death Cleaning, we will find easy ways to effectively organize your life and belongings to best fit your needs. After the presentation, we will have a group discussion to share personal decluttering techniques and anecdotes.

Book Club – Lady Tan’s Circle of Women

March 25 at 10 a.m. or March 26 at 3:30 p.m.

Choose a date that works for you. Both sessions will discuss the same title.

Join the library staff in discussing our monthly pick. You can join us on Tuesday or Wednesday, and we will be discussing Lady Tan’s Circle of Women, by Lisa See. Copies of our next book will be available at the end of the meeting.

Music Bingo

March 29 at 2 p.m.

Come to the library for an exciting twist on Bingo! Instead of calling traditional bingo numbers, we will be playing all of your favorite classic songs instead! Have fun at the library, listen to your favorite songs, and meet new members of your community at this fun program!
