The final Dance Party was a groovy good time with a ‘50s theme and dance contest. Winners taking first place were Bill Gosiak and Maia Ramey, second place went to David Jones and Jo Peterson, and third place went to Fred and Diane Haggerson. Peace out!
The Fun Lakers are wrapping up their events this season with two great evenings you do not want to miss!
Get ready for some good ol’ fashioned belly laughs on May 4 for the final Comedy Show featuring three comedians, including headliner Ritch Shydner, a stand-up comedian, comic writer, and actor. Shydner played Al Bundy’s coworker and friend Luke Ventura on Married… with Children and made guest appearances on other TV shows, such as Designing Women and Roseanne. His film roles include Beverly Hills Cop II and Roxanne. Shydner was also a staff writer on such sitcoms as Roseanne, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, and Titus. This show is open to the public at the San Tan Ballroom, Cottonwood Country Club, at 25630 S. Brentwood Drive, in Sun Lakes. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. There will be a limited menu and a cash bar. Tickets are on sale now, $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
