In spite of COVID-19, the PVLGA Cares group continues to work on ideas to give to our community. Group members Val Verbeck and Mary Horn spent many hours, days, and weeks sewing face masks and donating them to people and groups in need. Some recipients made donations which were given to PVLGA Cares. A portion of these donations have been presented to the golf pros at Palo Verde in honor of all of the things they do for PVLGA and the rest of our golf community. With the COVID-19 situation, these men’s lives and income were interrupted, and we hope we have been able to make a difference.
